Interested in trying something a little different? Looking for a healthy alternative to conventional frozen treats? Let's get together and experiment!
In this class, you'll learn how to make a simple, versatile frozen dessert base that is totally vegan, soy free, gluten free, yet still smooth and delicious. We'll experiment with different flavors and textures, than compare notes and swap our unique recipes!
You'll need an ice cream maker to participate in this class, as well as a healthy sense of adventure. Having a wild imagination doesn't hurt either, but just in case you feel un-inspired, we'll have plenty of suggestions for ice cream and sorbet flavors available and ready to go.
After our ice creams have been churned and tasted, I'll ask all of the students to email me their recipes and photos of their ice creams. I'll post them all on my blog, Mary Makes Dinner, by the following week.
