Description

It’s the end of the week.  You haven’t been to the store since last Saturday.  And you really aren’t in a mood to cook.  But, something’s telling you that take-out isn’t the answer.

That’s where Friday Night Fridge Finds comes in.  One Friday each month, we will engage in an impromptu group cooking experiment – open the fridge door, see what we’ve got, and draw on our creativity and pantry to come up with a quick, tasty, and hopefully healthy meal.

I will demonstrate a meal using finds from my own fridge – and it could be anything, let me tell you - but always gluten and dairy free.  We will discuss ways to use spices, flavor combinations, and basic cooking principles to throw together a quick meal from what you have on hand. We will even talk about some of your own Fridge Finds and what you could do with them.

Why sign up for this class?

* Restore sanity to the end of your week, by sharing a laugh, and maybe a drink, with some other hungry folks

* Find creative ways to feed yourself and others in your household in no time flat

* Learn the importance of having a well-stocked pantry and ideas for stocking it
