I'm Jessica the girl behind Cajunlicious All Things Cajun, a food blog full of Cajun dishes that I grew up enjoying. I am also a cookbook author and now cooking class instructor, specializing in authentic Cajun and Creole cuisines.

Through my blog, cookbook, and cooking classes I share my knowledge, enthusiasm, and love of my Cajun culture. With these, I hope to inspire you in your kitchen and bring Cajunlicious meals to your table.

After working in the corporate world for a number of years, I discovered that while I found it challenging and lucrative it was in the end unfulfilling. My passion for my Cajun heritage led me right where I needed to be; 5 years ago I left the corporate world and landed in the kitchen right where I belonged.

Born and raised 25 minutes from downtown New Orleans where food is more than simple sustenance, I received my most formative culinary experience in my family’s kitchens starting as early as I can remember. Food has always been a part of my life. On weekends, relatives of all ages gathered at my grandparent’s home to get together around the kitchen and fill plates and bowls with gumbo, potato salad, and jambalaya. After the eating, came the stories and hours of laughter because behind every great meal, is an even better story!

My first cookbook, Cajunlicious All Things Cajun, is filled with recipes I grew up enjoying with family. Sign up for one of my classes to add Cajunlicious dishes to your table!
